The Father's House Food Bank is open on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month from 4:30pm - 6:30pm.
(Seniors and handicapped clients are welcomed to the front of the line if they show up before 4:15pm.)
Mission Statement
It is our mission to meet the food needs, as well as the psychological needs, of the working poor, the elderly shut-ins, and the disabled in our community to the best of our ability.
Our clients are given the opportunity to "shop" for food in a warm and caring, stress-free atmosphere. They are allowed to maintain their dignity, while we are allowed to give them a "hand up". Thus, giving them encouragement and hope. With our clients only taking what they need/want, we are able to cut down drastically on wasted food donations and make sure everything we recieve gets into the hands of someone who can use it (versus handing them a premade box with things they're allergic to or don't have the means to prepare).
Home delivery service for the elderly shut-ins and the disabled affords us an opportunity to be a safety net for those who may not have outside contacts. At the same time, it offers access to the food bank for those on fixed incomes.
A Thank You from the Food Bank Director
Thanks to all of you, we are able to meet the hunger needs of our neighbors and friends. While many have given selflessly of their time and energy to serve those who come through our doors, we could not have done it without the generosity this community has shown time and time again.

Whether it be food drives held at the schools throughout the year, people of all ages going door-to-door to gather food, businesses bringing it by the truck load, or folks with a caring heart dropping off a bag or two of food at City Hall or at the food bank, you are the people who really make it happen. Thank you so much for your ongoing support as individuals and as a community!
