The purpose of the Women's Ministry is to
step alongside women on their walk with the Lord;
welcoming, encouraging, ministering, and providing opportunities
for spiritual growth and disicipleship.

This is my favorite season, the leaves changing colors, the crisp dry heat of a fall “heat wave”. LOL. To me, it’s a hopeful time. Garden harvests and canning plans for the holiday meals and family gatherings, and women coming back together after a summer full of activities OR spring and summer spent in quarantine. WHAT? We can’t ignore that this has been a year like no other. We’ve never gone through such a globally eventful period of time. We’ve been assaulted on many fronts.
Time out! We keep our eyes upon El Shaddai, All-sufficient One. He sustains, nourishes, and protects us. “Through the praise of children and infants, you have established a stronghold against our enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger.”, Psalm 8. The simple act of praising God and offering songs of joy, sends satan running, and brings God near. It silences thoughts that don’t align with God’s love and promises. God inhabits the praises of His people. Are we a praising people? Malachi 3:10-11 promises us, that as tithers, He will stop the devourer for our sakes. These are our spiritual weapons of warfare: our praise and songs of worships, standing on His Word (which doesn’t return to Him until it’s done its work,), tithing, acts of kindness, prayer, and more.
So, we gather for a time of refreshing, knowing our sovereign Lord is in control. He holds the future. He is our firm foundation. Knowing that gathering in His name, we are strong against the enemy.
Blessings on you, women of God! “This is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight . . . “ Philippians 1:9
